A corpse under the effects of Gentle Repose will reanimate itself into Living Death. The corpse has the normal zombie template, except it is immune to Negative Energy Effects, Immune to Positive Energy Effects, and can make make full round actions, but cannot use a run action. It is considered to have an Intelligence score of 1 for purposes feats based upon hit dice.

The specially created zombie has a highly contagious disease that is spread through a bite. A Fortitude save DC: 34 is required to prevent the disease. This disease is considered Supernatural for effects that slow or prevent disease. The disease causes the loss of 1 point of Constitution per hour until death. Once the disease is contracted, it cannot be cured by any means. After death, the person with the disease will reanimate into a zombie of the exact same nature. The bodily fluids of the zombie are also contagious. Oral contact or contact with an open wound has a 50% of spreading the disease.

The zombie cannot be turned, rebuked, or affected by any means. Damaging the zombie will result in only damage to the specific body part damage. For example, if you chop off it’s leg, it can’t walk, but it will still crawl. Only destroying the brain will cause the zombie to “die.” All attack rolls to the head require normal rules for a called shot.
